If you could sum up the ministry of Mark Ryan with one word it would be PASSION. In a day and age where our lives have become so complacent, we are yearning for something real, for something to be passionate about. Mark wants to show them God, and has a deep desire to bring worship to a level that lifts, rejuvenates, and fills the soul, with the spirit of the Lord. His music, which is a combination of popular and original worship songs, challenges all who hear, or experience it live, to take a giant leap into the presence of God. And if only for a brief time, realize how merciful, all-mighty, and loving God truly is. Mark grew up in a traditional Catholic Church. While in high school Mark committed his life to Christ and God blessed him with his ability to play and write music. Mark spent a good portion of his life running away from God and now is committed to spending the rest chasing after Him.

“I remember vividly my first experience with God during worship. I’d never known what worshiping God with my voice was about.”

Mark is determined now to bring those people who have never experienced God through praise and worship right up to the face of God. To have an encounter like never before and to leave with a deep desire to see God like that everyday.

“I don’t want that experience to end when I’m done with my set. I want people to know that worship is a part of daily life. You don’t have to have someone on a stage to worship. You just have to be willing to open your heart and get out of your comfort zone.”

Mark is based out of Oklahoma City where he lives with his wife Kathryn and their daughter Layne Taylor and their new baby boy Finn. Mark is the Worship Leader for the Edge Church in Edmond and travels leading worship for various events and churches.
